During the pinnacle of New York Bridal Fashion Week, the wedding industry congregated at the Manolo Blahnik store on the Upper East Side for a gathering arranged by the e-commerce platform and registry Over The Moon. The event aimed to commemorate the latest bridal collection from the sustainable fashion brand One Of, offering guests the opportunity to explore jewelry pieces by the renowned diamond expert Stephanie Gottlieb and indulge in shoe shopping. Throughout the soirée, attendees savored Palomas by 21Seeds while models adorned in ensembles crafted by One Of’s designer, Patricia Voto, gracefully maneuvered through the crowd. The ethos behind the brand’s name, One Of, lies in its utilization of custom-made pieces from dead-stock fabric. Displayed at the event were a variety of garments, including an off-the-shoulder mini dress suitable for a welcome party, a full-length gown perfect for a ceremony, and a playful bustier paired with shorts tailored for dancing the night away at an after-party.
In a fashion spectacle reminiscent of a sophisticated rendition of the 27 Dresses narrative, previous clients of One Of made a stylish entrance donning their favorite designs by Patricia Voto. This impromptu showcase established an unofficial dress code, sparking delightful moments of coordination that sparked conversations among the attendees. At the heart of the venue, Stephanie Gottlieb curated a dazzling exhibit of jewelry pieces, including the renowned “87” necklace famously worn by Taylor Swift at the Super Bowl. Vogue contributing editor and founder of Over The Moon, Alexandra Macon, was among the first to adorn herself with the iconic “87” necklace, while prominent figures such as content creator Hope LaVine, Cinq founder Macye Wysner, designer Lesea Berry, Savannah Engel, Amanda Jones Vaughan, and bridal stylists Anny Choi, Gabrielle Hurwitz, and Julie Sabatino explored the array of engagement rings, necklaces, and tennis bracelets on display.
The event was further enriched by engaging activities—Lefty’s Right Mind offered personalized monogramming services for Manolos purchased, providing guests with the option of colorful or metallic monograms on the soles. Additionally, representatives from 111SKIN were on-site to offer customized skin consultations and distribute eye and face masks for guests to enjoy at home, aligning perfectly with the event’s placement as one of the culminating celebrations of Bridal Fashion Week. Amidst the vibrant ambiance, Andrew Wright, the president of Manolo Blahnik’s North American operations, took the stage to introduce the hosts and express gratitude to all in attendance. Following the acquisition of shoes and personalized items, along with a curated goodie bag, guests were delighted to select a special One Of hair bow crafted from dead-stock fabric as a parting token to commemorate the memorable evening and the culmination of Bridal Fashion Week.
