Joely Richardson has disclosed the account of her recent vacation with her sister Natasha.
The 59-year-old actress shared the narrative on Instagram, accompanied by a photograph featuring the late Natasha and their mother, Vanessa Redgrave.
Joely described the spontaneous trip as a “special indulgence,” marking their final excursion before Natasha’s untimely passing in 2009.
“I stumbled upon this gem yesterday, bringing a smile to my face. Mum, myself, and my sister Tasha,” she began in the caption.

“It was an entirely unplanned getaway during a dreary January. Mum and I found ourselves at Gatwick’s south terminal, pondering our spontaneous decision – later profoundly grateful,” she continued.
“We rarely vacationed as a trio (children / partners / friends) – a rare indulgence. Tash orchestrated everything in her distinct manner (meaning brilliantly), while I savored the moments as the birthday celebrant.”

Joely posted a picture of the three of them on the back of a boat in clear waters, standing arm in arm.
“We embarked on a short boat journey for lunch on an island. Those were precious days that unexpectedly turned out to be our final escapade together. Truly grateful indeed. Carpe diem ♥️” she concluded.

Natasha met with a tragic accident while skiing in Canada, resulting in a fatal epidural hematoma in 2009.
Following her hospitalization a few hours after the incident, Richardson was transferred to a hospital in New York City, where she was placed on life support and passed away two days later.
Her husband, Liam Neeson, remained by her side during her final moments.
The actress left behind two children, Micheál, who was just 13 at the time, and his younger brother, Daniel, who was 12.
Joely, who frequently reminisces about her moments with Natasha on social media, shared with 9Honey Celebrity a particularly poignant tribute to her sister this year.

“I was especially touched by her son’s homage on social media,” Joely remarked about Daniel Neeson, one of Natasha’s two sons.
“I believe that our departed loved ones stay with us forever if we acknowledge them – because in my experience, having lost my father at a young age, our loved ones are eternal companions.
“It’s not about mystical spirits, but rather about energy, which cannot be extinguished.”
